The RPK-74 is nice, since it doesn't have that problem.įilthy Monkey fucked around with this message at 01:10 on May 29, 2011Ĭomrade, surely you realize that you are currently waging a people's war against evil dictator. I hate getting interrupts looking through the scope and being too far away. I really need to dump the AKMs for something with more like a 40 range. Two super-shorties with attached gun barrel extenders are in the loot too. A rod-and-springed FAMAS also dropped, along with a 5.56mm CMAG adapter. A morter is there, which should be useful for the counterattack. After a shift-f shift-s, I have 711 items on the map.Įdit: Hey, a rod and a spring dropped from the battle nice. Grumm's mine had a ridiculous amount of enemies. The Grum mine has nearly three times the output of the Drassen mine on my map anyway.įuuuck. I already have Chitzena, and nearly half of that income is going to pay militia, so I decided to leave Drassen's mine sector untaken and move on to Grum. Soloing my IMP at the moment, he's a gunslinger/night ops.pistols are awesome, he has 3 baretta's atm and is chewing through everything, screw reloading!Īfter failing at the counterattack a couple of times, I released I needed to be a little better prepared. In previous versions of 1.13 I re-used IMP sets when one died and ended up with the new merc having duplicates of all their starting equipment.don't know if this got fixed, but it was kind of annoying having to sift through the inventory and empty it out so they didn't knacker themselves out. So yeah, the new traits system is amazing. When my mid/long-range mercs make contact I just send Crash hauling rear end to the flank or straight into them with an M4A1 and then proceed to destroy them with highly-accurate bursts.Īlso, Vicki is actually pretty drat good in combat now with her Gunslinger/Ambidextrous traits. I chose Auto Weapons plus Aggressive though for the mid/end-game potential and so she'd be useful in daylight ops. I had to name my merc "Crash" when I realized the potential of this strategy. So you end up with an extremely loving fast merc who can completely silently charge up to enemies and cut their loving heads off with plenty of APs to spare. Stealthy takes away half of the AP cost for moving while in stealth mode, while Athletics takes away 25% of the AP cost for moving, period. It could also work with Hand-to-Hand, Melee, Night Ops or Throwing (although Throwing would probably be almost game-breaking if you've got good night vision goggles). I'm sure I'm not the first one to try this, but after messing around with a few different character builds I've fallen in love with one of my IMPs with Auto Weapons/Stealthy/Athletics and very high agility.
